Here’s the main features of the final GREAT prototypes:

  • single printed circuit board (PCB) integrating all electronic components required for the operation of a GNSS reference station
    • multi-constellation multi-frequency GNSS receiver: Septentrio Mosaic X5
    • LTE modem: Telit LE910C1-WWX
    • internal industrial grade micro-SD (16 GB or higher)
    • photovoltaic charger and connection to 12V AGM backup battery
  • the receiver tracks all GNSS signals of all main satellite constellations: GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BEIDOU
  • the station transmits in real-time telemetry information such as battery voltage, solar panel voltage and charging status, cellular signal strength, internal memory health status
